Our Mission
BaySpine Medical Associates is pleased to provide care for the entire spine in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each clinician has dedicated their career to the diagnosis and treatment of low back and neck pain related to disc herniation, stenosis, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, and other spinal disorders.
Our team of clinicians consists of physicians and allied health professionals who specialize in the non-operative and operative treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. We also provide regenerative medicine injections for the spine and joints.

Bone Spurs
The medical term for bone spurs is osteophytes, and they represent an enlargement of the normal bony structure.
Compression Fractures
When a bone in the spine collapses, it is called a vertebral compression fracture. These fractures happen most commonly in the thoracic spine.

Services
We provide comprehensive, convenient, and efficient service to our patients with prompt reporting to the referral source. In addition to consultation, we provide fluoroscopic diagnostic and interventional injections (Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections, facet blocks, intradiscal PRP, etc.). We recently added minimally invasive in-office peripheral nerve stimulation implants utilizing a new wireless technique; it is not necessary to implant a battery. This can be utilized for treating peripheral neuropathy (diabetic foot pain) and knee, neck, and back pain. This is a 15-30min procedure with local anesthesia, may last ten or more years, is very low risk, and is covered by Medicare and most insurances.
We have extensive experience managing Worker's Compensation cases and strive to maintain excellent communication with claims adjusters, attorneys, and all interested parties. We are participating providers for Medicare and accept most PPOs and private insurance. We accept selected personal injury cases upon attorney referral. We can provide second opinions and Independent Medical Evaluations.
